Project Clarifications

  • Clear and free access will be provided at all time during our scope of work.
  • We assume adequate space for install location and path to placement, will be made prior to our arrival.
  • Ground condition is assumed to be suitable to support the weight of the piece being moved, as well as the weight of the equipment necessary to make the move. IMM will not be liable for damages to hardscape(s) as a result of faulty ground conditions or ground conditions that prove incapable of supporting the equipment and the load.
  • Electrical and mechanical connections and disconnections are to be made by others.
  • Any delay in production, not of IMM creation will be billed at T/M rates and negotiated at the time of delay.
  • If customer equipment is to be moved off-site, IMM will require that all liquids be evacuated prior to transport. In the event that liquids are remaining upon our arrival, evacuation means and receptacles are to be provided by customer and the liquids remain the property of the customer.
  • Unless otherwise noted above, all blocking, bracing, and means necessary to make the piece(s) ready for travel will be completed by customer or customer representative prior to IMM arrival.
  • Unless otherwise noted above, no hardware has been included in this bid, this is a labor and equipment bid only. If your equipment requires anchoring, please indicate how you would like it anchored, prior to our arrival and if you would like us to provide said anchoring within our proposal.
  • IMM shall not be held liable for any delay in production or lost revenue, resulting from weather, fire, strike(s), accidents, government regulation, transportation, acts of God, or proven IMM negligence.
  • Customer equipment is insured for replacement cost only. Perceived value over replacement, or loss of use are outside of the insured coverage, and outside of IMM liability. IMM liability for loss will be limited to One Million Dollars OR Actual Replacement Cost, whichever is the lesser. Customer and customers agents or contractors agree to indemnify and hold harmless IMM from any amounts not within the above outlined limits of coverage for any proven act of negligence or omissions. At Customer cost and expense and upon written request, IMM MAY attempt to obtain additional insurance for any scope determined to be outside IMM standard coverage(s). The need for additional insurance must be brought by an authorized representative of the company, and with enough advance notice as to not cause a delay or hardship with regard to scheduling, purchasing, or procurement.
  • IMM offers storage of customer equipment as an additional service. Should you elect to utilize this service, it is important to note that this storage is indoors in a working facility. While it is free from the elements, man doors and equipment doors are open frequently, with vehicle and equipment traffic present. We offer climate control through the winter months while the rest of the year it is stored at ambient temperatures. If your equipment requires a level of protection above what is outlined here, please let us know prior to electing the service. Further, if your equipment is susceptible to dust and debris, changes in humidity, or other variables outside of those mentioned here, we recommend you elect a crating and barrier bag service as well. IMM accepts no liability for perceived damage as a result of being stored in our facility, save for damage that is deemed to have arisen from improper handling during the move process.

 

Payment Terms and Conditions:

 

  • Payment terms are Net30 days. Any terms in excess of Net30 will need to be negotiated and approved by IMM management prior to execution of project.
  • 2%Net10 terms are offered to established IMM accounts OR as determined by IMM Accounts Receivable staff. If you’d like to take advantage of this savings, please contact IMM Accounts Receivable.
  • As a convenience to our customers, IMM accepts most major credit cards. In as much as there are fees associated with this payment method, IMM charges a 4.5% convenience fee for Credit Card transactions.
  • Projects spanning longer than 2 weeks MAY require progress billing. Please work with your IMM Account Manager to understand and make clear how the project will be billed, prior to project commencement.
